The Sommelier Group's 6 week wine experience, held Monday evenings at Prime 94 Steakhouse in Fairfield, NJ is designed to provide a world-class “hands on” opportunity in a social and enjoyable environment. We will take you on a virtual journey around the world tasting and discovering the subtle and not so subtle diversity of wine.


What You'll Learn!

During this 6 week experience, you will be taking a virtual tour around the world, tasting the many diversities of wine. In addition, you will learn about wine making, wine pairing, label reading, and the various viticulture regions. 

Proper Tasting

Learn to identify the flavors, complexity and character of any wine.

Viticulture & Vinification

Learn about the making of wine and the many regions it comes from.

Wine Service

You will learn to properly present, uncork, decant and pour wine

Food Pairing

Learn how to properly pair win and food to enhance any dining experience.

Meet The Instructor

Argjent Sela started his career Admiral Imports where, as a wine salesman he was responsible for managing over 200 accounts that specialized in wine and spirits, including wholesale vendors and private restaurants.

In 1997 he became the Beverage Director at a 5 star Italian Restaurant where it his my job to procure, manage, and pair all wine and spirits with appropriate menu items.

He has spent the past 10 years furthering and perfecting his passion. With multiple certifications in Wine Service, he has procured and managed beverage programs at most of the 5 star Dining experiences in Northern NJ.
